Finding the best use for these bags, Estrel's Caramel Cakes repurposes them into aprons, potholders, oven mitts, dish bags and other items.
PROVIDE WORK
Accents, made of indigenous weaves sourced directly from weavers in the countryside, are used to brighten up the appeal of the otherwise drab katsa.
Estrel’s Caramel Cakes contributes to efforts to provide work to Filipino communities, particularly those that have been impacted negatively by the pandemic.
Experienced sewers who lost their sewing projects compose the main workforce for the Katsabay project.

baking establishments to donate their flour bags to the Katsabay project so that it can benefit more communities and charities.
